Our Story

Caroline’s Kitchen has been around since the 1970’s. That is when Caroline first found her love of cooking. Not just cooking, but cooking for other people. It is this love of the culinary world and love of seeing others smile that has driven the decision to go into business doing what she loves to do. Taking culinary tours of Asia and Europe have broadened her palate… but home is always home. Texas chili, tamales, baked goods, preserves etc.

Caroline is a native Houstonian and Texan to the bone. Growing up on the Northside, attending Aldine high school, she has seen many changes to the Houston area. Spanish and English are a close race to determine what would be a 2nd language to her. Caroline has always catered parties, weddings, crawfish boils, showers and many other varied events. She is a mother, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a friend and a grandmother. When you cook with love, it shows.

Chad is a native Montanan and a proud Army Veteran. He grew up on the Blackfeet reservation, sharing borders with glacier national park and Canada. Adopted at birth into a Blackfeet family he has had a hybrid perspective on culture, spirituality and nature. Chad is a pure foodie like Caroline but prefers consuming more than preparation. Chads “day job” is a private investigator and fugitive recovery agent which he has recently put to the back burner to help with Caroline’s Kitchen & Healthy Eatery.

Chad and Caroline have been together over 13 years. They finally got married in August of 2015. They are joined in the family business with Chad’s Son Israel as the Kitchen Manager with Caroline’s Daughter Jordann as the Front of House Manager. They have one grandson in Tomball, a granddaughter and two older grandkids in LaPorte Texas.
